Welcome to my 9TH Month blogger Income report & growth. I have made these blogger income reports from day one, not only to keep myself headed towards my financial goals but also for you guys to read and hopefully gain something from, but also for myself so I can look back and see the areas I need to concentrate on.
When I started out with this blog I was looking at other blog income reports and came across Michelle Schroeder-Gardner. She runs a great Personal Finance blog called Making sense of Cents. You can find her blogger Income report here
However as amazing as Michelle has done with her blog and as much as it gives me motivation, I was looking for blogger income reports from beginners to see how it was going to be at the beginning of my blogging journey. It turned out there wasn’t that many. The ones I did find were a good mix of honesty, hard work, mistakes, and learning.
So to that end, I’m am going to try and be as transparent as possible so as you readers out there see not only my successes but also my failures.
Also if your new to this blog and would like to read any of my other blogger Income reports then you can find all those reports here.
Also If you would like to subscribe and see these reports as soon as I publish them then you can do that here or on the main menu from the dropdown.
If you have been looking at the highly publicized Genius Bloggers Toolkit by the ultimate bundles crew then you can read more about that further on.
Some of my posts may contain affiliate links. This simply means if you purchase something after clicking one of the links I may receive a commission at no extra cost to yourself. Many thanks for the continued support.

This Month:
So this month has continued much like last month ended and that is with me slowly getting over this illness which has ruined me plus having a little break for a few days in London with my wife. Much needed as well and I spent around 10 days not even turning my laptop on.
This has however possibly contributed to poor results this month. However, I do have a couple of wins and this is what keeps us bloggers going in the tough months before we start earning good money.
I’ll get to my wins later once I have gone through the stats and figures for this month.
Articles:
This is the one place where I have been fairly consistent. I would like at one point to have 10 or more already scheduled but this may be a bit of a pipe dream as I think 3 is my record for this.
I’m pleased however that as ill and lethargic as I have been these last few weeks it hasn’t ruined my posting schedule which is one every Sunday morning.
Traffic:

As you can see above my traffic isn’t really that great but it is about the same as where it is every month. I have full confidence that once I start to rank for more keywords (Which can take time) then I will see a rise in my traffic figures.
A good amount of traffic is where I am struggling right now and it has become a bit of a bugbear for me. I’m sure this is the case with a lot of bloggers.
When I promote my latest post I can get around 30-40 views a day but without that promotion, we are looking at around 10-15 and this is not where I wanted to be 9 months in. I’m sure it will come but it is a bit disheartening at times.
Social Media:
Another avenue that hasn’t been doing great this last month is the social media area. I have not really done anything to promote these areas.
Twitter:
I am still at 17 followers but with me not posting anything on that particular media this is hardly surprising. I am to do better with this but at the moment I dont think it will help with the progress and development of my blog.
Facebook:
So I have managed to gain 5 followers this month to my Facebook group so we have gone from 77 last month to 82 this month. I really want to get my group to 100 followers in the next month although I appreciate this might be a stretch.
Feel free to join up to my money group here. I would love to have some more followers on board.
Pinterest:
Since purchasing my first course from Ana at Thesheapproach.com my Pinterest skills have improved. I’m learning new skills such as creating images and how to layout my profile etc. If you are stuck with Pinterest then I would certainly suggest checking out her course.
Ahh, Pinterest you little B****rd. Some months I feel I have you completely figured out and I start implementing the things i have learned, and then you go and ruin all my plans by making me look very silly.
My Pinterest has become somewhat stagnant in the last couple of months and I have no idea why. The only thing I can put my finger on at the moment is I dont really go onto Pinterest and manually pin anything. It is all automated at the moment.

As you can see from above my Monthly Unique views are half of what they usually are. I dont know why but I will do a deep dive into my stats to try and find out. I do need to go through some of my early posts and rewrite sections. Better SEO as well as creating better pins for them that match my current branding will help a lot.

Again as you can see from this image all my stats are about half of what they normally are. I will try and resolve this over the next month.
My followers are at 997, so close to the 1000 mark I can feel it.
Changes Made:
I have managed to get a few of the courses from the Genius Bloggers Toolkit onto my tablet. This means that I can read through these before I go to bed. Otherwise I just dont make the time for them. There is some great content in there by the way.
I have also been adding Pinnable pins into my blog posts. However I do need to go back and do this with some of my older posts.
I have joined some more blogger facebook groups and decided that I need to promote myself more as well as interact with other bloggers. Ling from Finsavvypanda.com has been a huge help. Go and have a look at her blog. She has some great money-saving tips.
Income/Financial Goals:
Obviously due to the small amount of traffic I am receiving at the moment the income has dropped a bit. This month it was less than a dollar I’m afraid. I need to organize all my affiliates into one handy place which will make it easier to access and check any earnings quickly.
To be honest with you at the moment I am more interested in my Blog’s DA and PA and also the number of keywords I am ranking for than the amount of money it is making me.
As those are the improvements which will result in more earnings anyway.
Winning:
As I said right at the start of this article I did have a couple of small wins which have helped me feel more positive as the last couple of months have made me feel a little overwhelmed with my blog not really improving.
I always say “never fear give it a year” when it comes to doing anything online. This is how long it can take to see some results and success and blogging is no different.
So the first win was that my Blog went from a DA of 9 to 10. DA is domain authority and is a good idea of how your blog is growing. I have also increased my PA (Page Authority) to 19. This shows me that however slowly it might be happening my blog is growing.
My second win I briefly mentioned earlier. This is I have managed to get a lot of the downloadable courses from the Genius Bloggers toolkit down onto my tablet. So now instead of reading the latest thriller in bed to help me relax I read blogging courses (Boring I know). Hopefully, a lot of this blogging knowledge starts to sink in and I can implement it to my blog.
AFFILIATES:
Below is a quick look at some of my affiliates which I use myself and can wholeheartedly recommend. These all contribute to my blogger income report but it is difficult to keep track of.
So my list of affiliates is growing and I can’t wait to add more and start to implement them more. I will list some of them below.
HOSTING:
If you are looking to start a blog and are unsure whether to self-host or use a third party site then I can assure you, self-hosted is the only way to really be able to monetize your site in the future. A well-monetized site can help you hit all the financial goals you may have.
Siteground is who I use and they have helped me loads with any issues that have cropped up. Click below to look at their self-hosting plans that start at really reasonable prices.

Studiopress offers some great paid themes to make your new blog really stand out from the crowd. I personally use one of their themes and find them very easy to work with.
MATCHED BETTING:
If you have been reading my blog for a while you will have realized that matched betting is my specialty. It is one of the best side-hustles out there to make you potentially hundreds of pounds per month. Profit accumulator can help you achieve that and guide you through the first few profitable bets. EBOOKS & COURSES:
As I said at the start of this article I mentioned that I had just made my first purchase in regards to a blog course. (Keep reading to the end to hear about my latest purchase) This was the great E-Book by Ana over at ThesheApproach.com. It is a book on learning how to use Pinterest and how to grow your blog using this popular medium.
I have completed her course and I am already making some great changes. If you are looking to boost your Pinterest Profile then check out Ana’s E-book here. Below is the code to get a massive discount off of all Ana’s great books. If I’m getting results from just the Pinterest one, Imagine what you could do with the others.

If you want to achieve any kind of growth or want to hit certain financial goals and create your own blogger income report with your blog then you are going to need to invest a little cash into it in order for your blog to grow. Dont be scared just try and commit to your blog as I have done with mine. Ana’s course above didn’t cost a great deal but it was still a financial decision I took that is already benefiting me and my blog.
GENIUS BLOGGERS TOOLKIT:
Bearing in mind what I have just said above, I have made what I would consider a huge purchase. I have brought the Genius Bloggers Toolkit. So why is it called the Genius Bloggers Toolkit? Well, It is a collection of Ebooks, Courses, Memberships, and well, toolkits all made by very experienced well-known bloggers and is released at a huge discount once a year for a short period of time. If you are into blogging, no matter what stage you are at I’m sure you will have heard about this.
It is available from the ultimate bundles website which is a site that specializes in selling blogging courses.
P.s Ana is also one of the contributors to the genius bloggers toolkit.
I looked into what was included this year and there are at least 8 courses or Ebooks that will really help me out with my blog. Individually these would have cost me around $500. The price I paid for the whole Genius Bloggers Toolkit by ultimate bundles was $97 or around £79.
Believe me, when I say this is such good value. I have had a look and started downloading some of the ebooks which are going to massively expand my learning. In this year’s toolkit, there are a total of 26 ebooks, 12 printables and Templates, 55 e-courses and videos, 1 membership site and 6 bonuses. 94 products to help your blog move to the next level.

Anyway, I dont want to go on too much about it. If you are interested in looking at this amazing deal then check out the Genius Bloggers Toolkit here. It only comes around once a year. If it isn’t available at the time you click the link then simply bookmark it for later.
Goals:
As I stated a couple of blog reports ago, I’m not going to be doing goals as such. Yes, they help keep me on track but they also put added pressure on me. Just learning new blogging ideas every day and maintaining my blog is enough pressure as it is.
I have a couple of goals for this month, Nice light and easy ones. The first is I used to spend a lot of time looking at keywords I’m ranking for on Neil Patel’s Ubersuggest site. Bad move allegedly. I spoke to some of the very helpful lady bloggers at the Blogging Babes Collective facebook group. They advised that the best place to look for that is Google Search Console so that is my focus for this month. Learn about Google Search Console.
My Second goal is to maybe write one extra post and have it scheduled before Christmas so I can switch off over the Christmas period and recharge my batteries ready to come back in the new year with a renewed passion and drive as I have had some peaks and troughs this year and want to find my spark for this blog again.
Have no fear though I will most certainly not give up, That is what all the full-time bloggers certainly did not do. There blogger income reports are proof of this.
I hope these blogging income reports give new bloggers an insight into how hard this is. However, I also hope it isn’t enough to put you off. If there are any things you would like to know about or you are having trouble with yourself then please let me know in the comments section below.
